Over the next few months our MeetingHouse groups will be exploring the story of the early church community. In the gospels God's character came to life in the person of Jesus. John's gospel tells us that when you look at the Son you see the Father (John 14:9). In the person and life of Jesus we see who God is and that his character has been uniquely and intimately made know to us.
As we look into the Acts of the Apostles, we hope to become familiar with God's continuing story of making known his character and purposes to us through the new work of the Holy Spirit. The significance of Jesus' life, death, and physical resurrection becomes clear to the disciples as the "Helper" comes to them after Jesus' ascension. The story of Acts is the story of old promises being fulfilled, old traditions merging with new, and the message of the gospel beginning as a mustard seed and traveling to Caesar himself.
The schedule below gives the day that we'll be meeting and the topic that we'll be discussing. Our calendar tells you where and at what time we'll be meeting. If you would like more information about our worship or about our MeetingHouse groups, contact Matt Kaminski via phone (978.745.1948) or email matt@themeetinghousechurch.com.
We'd love to have you be part of the conversation!
